Wired In
Wired In is an event in the INSTRUO Techno-Management fest of IIEST, Shibpur conducted by the Department of Electrical Engineering in collaboration with INSTRUO. It has several enthusiastic and exciting rounds, related to the vast domain of Electrical Engineering, testing the knowledge of the students in the said domain.
Industrial Seminars
These are held for the students which is graced by eminent personalities from various industries .Many companies also hold their seminars for teaching industry oriented subjects
Circuit Club
The Circuit Club is organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Electrical Engineers' Society of IIEST, Shibpur. This club enhances the practical skills and knowledge of the students in the domain of Electrical and Electronics Engineering by conducting different sessions, quizzes, events, and many more
Apticrack
Apticrack is the quiz event conducted by the Electrical Engineers' Society to develop the ability of students to crack the Aptitude tests, which are part recruitment process of many of the companies. Frequent quizzes are conducted and many practice questions are provided to the students which were asked in the aptitude tests of different companies.
Internships Simplified
This is an initiative where we collect the experiences of seniors who have cracked internships in prestigious companies and post it on our social media pages. These are quite helpful for juniors who would be applying for the same internships in coming years.
Cultural Series
EES believes in all round development of a student . In this initiative ,we post cultural activities of students from all over college, viz, art, song dance etc on our social media pages. We believe through it we would be able to inculcate and encourage the cultural talent of the students.
Freshers'
The Freshers of the Department of Electrical Engineering is the grand welcome into the department to the freshmen. This is conducted by the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Electrical Engineers' society. The evening will be of complete thrill and fun for every attendee. The freshmen entertain everyone with their beautiful and energetic performances in music, dance, and Drama.
Farewell
The Farewell is the dear goodbye and the celebration of 4 years of togetherness of the beloved Seniors of the Department of Electrical Engineering, conducted by the Department and the Electrical Engineers' Society. The event will be the memoranda of the beautiful time spent by them in the college. The sophomores entertain the attendees with their performances in music, dance, and drama.

Teachers' Day
The Electrical Engineers' Society celebrates teachers' day with all dedication and pomp. The day is filled with cultural performances and other activities to show how much we are grateful to our teachers for their constant guidance and support throughout our college life and beyond. The day really serves as a beacon of the bonding between a teacher and student.
