The demand for electric mobility in India continues to grow, with e-bicycles emerging as an alternative for urban commuting. Among the latest additions to this segment is the Emotorad X2, an electric bicycle designed for city travel and light off-road use.
Manufactured by INKODOP Technologies Private Limited, the model features a steel frame, a rear hub motor, and a removable lithium-ion battery.

Design and Structure
The Emotorad X2 comes with a high-tensile step-through steel frame, designed for stability and durability. This frame structure allows easy mounting and dismounting, making it accessible for different rider heights. The e-cycle measures 179 cm in length, 67.5 cm in width, and 110 cm in height, with a five-year frame warranty.
Motor and Battery Performance
The X2 is powered by a 36V 250W rear hub motor, paired with a 36V 7.65Ah Li-Ion removable battery. The manufacturer claims the cycle can cover up to 35 km on Pedal Assist System (PAS) and 30 km on throttle mode. Charging time is estimated at 3-4 hours, allowing riders to recharge between daily commutes.
Suspension and Tyres
A front suspension fork with 100 mm travel is included to absorb minor road bumps, which could enhance comfort on uneven roads. The bicycle is equipped with 27.5” x 2.1” nylon tyres designed to provide grip across different terrains. Additionally, a double-wall aluminum alloy rim supports the wheel structure.
Braking and Safety Features
The X2 comes with mechanical disc brakes and an auto cut-off feature, which disengages motor assistance when brakes are applied. Some units may include a front light with an integrated horn, which could improve visibility for nighttime commuting.
Rider Suitability
According to the specifications, the X2 is designed to accommodate riders weighing up to 110 kg and ranging in height from 5 feet to 6 feet.
Market Positioning and Availability
The Emotorad X2 is currently available at a listed price of ₹27,999, with a maximum retail price (MRP) of ₹34,999. The e-cycle is manufactured and marketed from Pune, India, and is reportedly in stock for shipping.
